❓Common Questions (FAQ)Updated 11 days ago

Does it hurt?

Most users experience little to no pain, the micro-needling process is designed to be gentle. Most people feel a mild tingling sensation as the tiny 0.5 mm gold needles create micro channels, nothing sharp or painful.

When will I see results?

Many users report that their skin feels smoother, more hydrated, and visibly refreshed after just one session. While some effects may be noticed early, more noticeable improvements in the appearance of fine lines and overall skin texture are typically seen with consistent use over 4–6 sessions across 12+ weeks. Regular use may help support a firmer, more radiant look over time. For best results, we suggest maintaining a consistent routine over several weeks.

Is there downtime?

There is minimal to no downtime after using the Micro Infusion Kit. You may experience slight redness or mild sensitivity immediately after the treatment, which typically subsides within a few hours to a day. It’s recommended to avoid makeup, direct sun exposure, and harsh skincare products for at least 24 hours post-treatment to allow your skin to recover fully. You can apply your regular skincare, like hyaluronic acid based creams, in the morning after using the Micro Infusion Kit, as it helps hydrate and soothe the skin, enhancing the benefits of the treatment. To reduce the risk of potential irritation, we recommend avoiding retinol and other strong active ingredients—such as exfoliating acids or vitamin c—immediately after use. Please consult the ingredient chart at the back of your manual for exact wait periods after treatment to begin introducing potent actives.

Are the micro needle heads reusable?

No, each needle head and device in the Micro Infusion Kit is designed for single use only.

Reusing needle heads and devices is not recommended, as it can compromise sterility and reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.

After each session, it is advised to dispose of the used needle headband device properly to maintain optimal hygiene and treatment results.

Is it safe for all skin types?

Yes! Our cosmetic system is designed for use on all skin types, including sensitive skin. However, if you have a medical skin condition or any concerns, we recommend consulting with a licensed healthcare provider before use.

Can I use the kit after cosmetic injections?

Yes, you can use the Micro Infusion Kit even if you’ve had cosmetic injections. However, it’s best to wait at least two weeks after your injections before using the kit. This allows the injected product to settle and avoids potential interference with the results.

Can I travel with the kit?

Yes, it is completely safe and allowed on planes.

Can I use it with my own serums?

We do not recommend using the Micro Infusion Kit with serums other than the one provided. The included serum is specifically formulated to work in harmony with the device's technology, ensuring optimal absorption and effectiveness.

Can it cause scarring?

No, Seranova's micro infusion technology does not cause scarring. Our needles are the optimal length to deliver active ingredients to the ideal skin depth without penetrating deep enough to cause scarring or skin damage. Additionally, our needle heads are sterile and single-use, ensuring a clean, safe application every time.

Can the Kit be combined with red-light therapy or RF lasers, and if so, what spacing should be used?

Yes, the Micro Infusion Kit can be safely combined with treatments like red light therapy or RF laser therapy. However, it’s important to allow a recovery period of at least two nights after using the Micro Infusion Kit before introducing the red light therapy and at least 4-5 days before introducing RF treatments. This ensures your skin has time to heal and optimizes the benefits of all treatments.
